Liquid Laundry Detergent (DIY)
Ingredients and utensils
1 20-litre bucket
1 wooden spoon or similar
5 litres of boiling water
6 litres of cold water
100ml of alcohol
200g of Clarim soap
200ml of dish soap or coconut soap
2 spoons of sea salt
3 tablespoons of cleaning vinegar
3 tablespoons of powdered soap of your choice
3 tablespoons of baking soda
Procedure
Step 1 – Grate 200g of Clarim soap
Step 2 – Pour 5 litres of boiling water into the bucket and add the grated Clarim soap along with 3 tablespoons of powdered soap, 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 200ml of dish soap or coconut soap.
Step 3 – Stir the contents until well dissolved.
Step 4 – Gradually add 6 litres of cold water along with 3 tablespoons of white vinegar and 100ml of alcohol while stirring.
Step 5 – Add sea salt, which will help preserve the liquid detergent and give it consistency.
Wait 24 hours and blend with an immersion blender or a regular blender, adding more water if needed until you reach the desired texture. Once the desired texture is achieved, wait 24 hours before bottling.
